SonderMind Reveals Plans to Expand Across the Country, Beginning with Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, and South Carolina

Today, SonderMind opened mental health care services in five new states–Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, and South Carolina–with Kansas to follow later this week. The mental health care provider supports more than 8,000 therapy and psychiatry practices across 15 states and Washington, D.C. and plans to open more states across the country throughout the year. 

Initially available to clinicians and individuals utilizing a self-pay model and select insurance plans, SonderMind will quickly expand the robust insurance coverage it is known for in existing markets  to each new state, including Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans. 

SonderMind is also expanding its participation with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and their Community Care Network. As a trusted partner already serving nearly 3,000 Veterans in any given month, SonderMind can now support even more Veterans using their benefits to get the care they need, when they need it. The Veteran and military community is particularly important to the company, as SonderMind was co-founded and is led by Army Veteran, Mark Frank. In addition to its work with the VHA, SonderMind also plans to expand partnerships with local and regional health systems to increase speed and access to specialty, personalized mental health care for their patients.
