DENVER -- SonderMind Inc., a company dedicated to redesigning mental and behavioral health through improved access, utilization and outcomes, today announced the promotion of Brannan Schell to the new role of Chief Operating Officer. Schell previously held the position of Chief Development Officer at SonderMind. Former Senior Vice President of Growth and Marketing, Katie Flannery, succeeds Schell as Chief Development Officer.
In his new role, Schell leads SonderMind’s provider, care and customer operations, as well as new market expansion and operations. This encompasses overseeing recruiting; managing and ensuring the success of mental health providers; and driving the selection, launch and ongoing management of business operations — including customer support practices — in new and pre-existing SonderMind markets.
Schell has over 20 years of extensive healthcare experience that includes previous roles at Genentech, DaVita and Takeda Pharmaceuticals.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support SonderMind’s operations as Chief Operating Officer, as the company continues to expand,” said Brannan Schell. “I was initially drawn to SonderMind because of its focus on making mental healthcare more readily accessible to all. I look forward to continuing my work with Mark and the rest of the SonderMind team in pursuit of that mission.”
“Brannan’s commitment to our mission of streamlining the healthcare process for those in need was evident from day one. His work has been essential to the growth of SonderMind's care system, which includes thousands of mental health providers nationwide,” said SonderMind CEO and Co-Founder, Mark Frank. “We are pleased Brannan will continue at SonderMind in an even bigger role as we set our sights on becoming a national behavioral health leader and organization of choice for the therapist community.”
