Denver - SonderMind Inc., a company dedicated to making behavioral health more universally accessible and approachable for all, today announced two additions to its executive team. Corley Hughes joins as Chief Financial Officer and Nabeel Meghji as Chief Product Officer. In these roles, Hughes and Meghji will work with the rest of the SonderMind team as the company furthers its mission of making behavioral healthcare accessible by growing and scaling its current product and services portfolio as well as its geographic presence. These team additions are another key step in SonderMind’s work to achieve that mission.
In her new role at SonderMind, Hughes leads SonderMind’s financial strategy, planning and company operations. With her experience in leadership roles at both Fortune 500 companies and burgeoning startups, Hughes offers a new vantage point among the Company’s senior leadership. Hughes joins SonderMind from &Then, where she worked with CEOs and Founders of venture-backed companies to help them scale their businesses. She has also held past roles at Microsoft, Glossier and Product Hunt.
“I enjoy working with companies through this phase of growth. Helping them scale without losing what’s special about them is incredibly important,” said CFO, Corley Hughes. “The opportunity to join the SonderMind team, on its mission of re-imagining mental healthcare in the United States, is exciting to me and is something I am deeply passionate about. SonderMind has seen such tremendous growth over the past year and I look forward to working with Mark and the rest of the team to accelerate the trajectory of the company.”
In SonderMind’s brand new CPO role, Meghji leads efforts to refine and expand offerings as the company launches more products for consumers and the company’s business partners. He joins SonderMind from Denver-based DispatchHealth where he also served as Chief Product Officer; before that, Meghji worked in a similar role at Healthgrades. His experience in product and services creation cuts across both business and consumer markets.
“SonderMind’s innovative technology, which pairs therapists with patients through their insurance coverage, addresses a real need in this country to lower the barrier to entry for therapy,” said CPO Nabeel Meghji. “I am incredibly excited to move this mission forward while working with the extraordinary team at SonderMind to launch new and improved products that address the needs of Americans at every point in their mental health journey.”
“Corley and Nabeel bring highly relevant expertise to this moment in SonderMind’s journey,” said SonderMind CEO and Co-Founder Mark Frank. “Their collective experience in healthcare and technology, as well as ability to help fast growing companies realize their potential by way of operational, financial and product/services expertise, will be integral as we continue to grow and expand accessible mental healthcare to more Americans.”
The appointments of these key senior managers caps a strong 2020 for SonderMind in which the company completed a successful Series B financing, added key board members, expanded into the Ohio market and was recognized on Colorado Inno’s on Fire list.
