Therapist • LCSW, LICSW (she/her)
Hello, I'm Lillian. I earned my B.S. in Psychology at Regent University and my Master's Degree in Social Work at the Catholic University of America. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in various settings, including substance use disorder intensive inpatient and outpatient programs, community mental health, with children in state custody, and with veterans. Additionally, I've supported clients with severe mental illness and developmental challenges. During my time earning my Master's Degree, I also served as a peer support specialist, which deepened my understanding and empathy for those I work with. My approach to therapy is rooted in a strength-based perspective. I believe in empowering my clients to recognize their own resilience and capabilities. By fostering a sense of autonomy and self-determination, I help clients navigate their personal journeys toward healing and growth. I strive to create a space of safety and trust, where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief and bereavement, military and veteran support, PTSD, spirituality, stress, trauma, depression, and addiction. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or seeking general support, I'm here to help you find hope and healing. Working with me means you'll have a compassionate partner in your corner, someone who truly listens and understands. Together, we'll work on building a path forward that feels right for you. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to support you on your journey.
