Do you feel overwhelmed or struggle with low mood and irritability? If so, I understand and have walked in your shoes... I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, everyday stress, family issues, parenting issues, adjustment issues, women's issues, and career issues including work-life balance. Through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy framework, I will help you understand how your thoughts and behaviors impact the way you feel. I believe it is important to look at each individual as a whole and incorporate specific supports, resources, and strengths into treatment. During treatment, my clients will learn specific skills to relieve symptoms. I have three young children and a husband that travels constantly for his job, so I am very familiar with the stressors of everyday life. My approach is warm, personable, and lighthearted, sprinkled with some humor. My initial goal is to help my clients feel comfortable, validated, and create a strong therapeutic relationship.
